Transportation: By car - The Shilo Inn is conveniently located in a quiet setting 2½ miles from Portland International Airport and near the I-205 & I-84 freeways.
By mass transit - Free shuttle service is provided by the hotel to/from the airport 24/7, running every half hour. Tri-Met's Maxx "Red Line" serves the city from the airport every 15 minutes and takes only half an hour to reach downtown. The entire trip (shuttle, layover, & Maxx) takes about 40-45 minutes. (Faster than driving - Powell's, anyone?)
By air - Again, to get to/from the airport at any time, there is a free shuttle service provided by the hotel, running every half hour.

Food: The hotel includes a full-service restaurant with a wide range of menu items including ovo-lacto vegetarian and vegan dishes (with delightful aromas) and a full-service lounge.
We encourage attendees to patronise the Shiloh's dining room and bar as this will prove to the hotel that hosting future WicCons will be A Good Thing. For those inclined, there are other eateries located within walking distance; Shari's, Subway, China Wok, etc., however, the Shiloh's food is bound to be better!
WicCon Hospitality is currently scheduled to be open from noon until late, serving up a variety of cold dishes and hot and cold beverages to delight the palate and keep "the rumblies" at bay between meals. While Hospitality will not be serving any alcoholic beverages, the hotel bar is convenient, well-stocked, allows smoking, and is well-ventilated. You may also bring something to stash in your room.

Smoking: The hotel has a Cigar Room and several outdoor covered smoking areas. WicCon Hospitality is non-smoking due to size constraints and ventilation. If you need a "smoking" guestroom, reserve early as there are a limited number available!

Convention room rates of $99 per room night (single king or double queen) for 1-2 people are valid from 2-6 Feb 2006 (Thursday night thru Sunday night inclusive). Each additional adult is $10 extra per night - so 3 adults in a room would be $109 and 4 would be $119 per night. Please be honest in this - "roomstuffing" would reflect badly on the entire event! Once again, we want the Shiloh to see we are a group of responsible pagans whose convention is a business asset to the hotel - not only this year but for years to come.

If using 503-252-7500, tell them you're with "WicCon".

If using 800-222-2244, tell them you need the "Shiloh Portland Airport" and tell them you're with "WicCon".

If using the online reservation system, enter what dates, how many people, and, in the "Special Rate Code" window, "wicconparty" for a party room or "wicconoparty" for a non-party room. Careful - "wicconoparty" has only one "n" in it! (The above link takes you directly to the "Shilo Inn Suites Hotel - Portland Airport" reservation page.)

    -- Notas bene --
First - After you enter the date, number of nights and people, and the Special Rate Code (wiccon), it gives you a listing of room types. There you can select "Smoking" or "Non-Smoking". It would appear that it usually lists the smoking rooms first but double-check the text on the "Details" page to make sure. Use your "Back" button to make a new selection, if needed.
Second - Email confirmations will be sent out by the hotel regardless of reservation method or room type so make sure they get your addy.
Third - Although we don't expect any problems, if you have a concern regarding your reservation or in making a reservation, please contact our Hotel Liaison, Diana Callihan, instead of the Shiloh. She is there for you!
